Right folks mines seized up and I need a new one.
Standard GT3 (i think they are all the same).
I'm after a known good working box with no issues. My gearbox also leaked fluid so let me know if yours is a leaker or not......
A pity I sold my spare in September to Sabre (damn you!) and sods law now I need one
Anyway I am in Bham so ideally it needs to be a reasonable distance from home to collect from unless you can do a half way meet or quote for a courier - I find Hermes are very cheap these days.
What have you got and prices please. Will also do swaps or part swaps if you need some GT parts as Ive got loads of stuff here.......just ask.

The bonus also is that I'll take my Dr Evil Poly gearbox mount in with me as they have to undo the old mount anyway - might as well have it fitted for free

How did the garage get on?
its done mate. the new box of Toby is very tight compared to my old one. very narrow gate of gears which is nice and it takes getting used to when youve previously had to really stir the stick around and move it a long way across the gate. got some whining in 4th and 5th - not sure about that whether it will improve - dont know how the box was stored or how long its been out of action. i need to break in the evil mount so will give that about 2 weeks. vibration city compared to a standard fiat gearbox mount (which is so quiet in comparison) because of vibes going through the car so going to see how it is over the next few weeks. certainly makes the car handle better cos on and off throttle the engine and transmission arent moving around under braking or accelerating. theres a lot more contact area with the top of the evil mount where it butts up under the chassis so its like a solid connection feeding all the transmission and engine vibes up into the car. will report back later.......
just having a faff trying to split open the old box for a look inside......
As the new box whines mainly in 4th anf 5th im still on the hunt for a good one.

I contacted Fiat and they can get me one.not new but recon.its over £2,000 with the vat!
No way jose! 2k? Fook right off.id rather buy a low mileage gt.
