    uprated breaks

    what do you guys suggest on uprated breaks going to be needing them if i up the bhp !!!!!

    Brembo brakes from a fiat coupe with the discs and adapters. If you speak to Zuid on here he sells the adapters that make the calipers fit.

    ohh i didn't know u needed adapters thought they fitted straight on

    if i had the cash i would go for a set of lightweight calipers and rotors........the size of brakes depends on your wheel size of course

    a good initial improvement without breaking the bank would be braided lines all round and new fluid. some put in DOT5 fluid to replace the DOT4

    Agree with Clarkster the brembos are very heavy and you need at least 16inch wheels so that they fit behind. Easiest wheel option is the ones of the fiat coupe 20v turbo. A Brembo set up will cost you alot less than the lightweight kits though!

    just had a look on ebay and the brembo are going for like 150 to 200 but that's just the 2 front im gonna need the 2 rear aswell am I just better off going scrap yard and taking all for from the fiat coupe could probably get them all 4 from scrap yard near me for £50 as they guy there is a bit thick and don't know the value

    I have not seen anyone uprate the rears before pal. It's not needed anyway as 70% of your braking is done on the front! On the rear you could fit drilled and grooved discs and better pads though i suppose.
