    anyone?

went to a few scrappies today and they wanted me to buy the whole window mech for between £15-25! - I tried explaining that the runner is a small piece of plastic thats held on by two bolts and is nothing to do with the mechanism but they wouldnt listen. Damned if Im buying the whole door contents when I just need a runner......

anyone breaking a 3dr at the minute? Doesnt need to be a GT.

phil when i lower the window its weird cos the glass just catches my runner on the wrong side and then lowers on the outer edge of it. ive wondered if my runner has been bent because you can physically press it over slightly and the glass will line up but then it just goes back to its position. i reckon mine might be off a 5dr........unless the problems on the front runner forcing the glass out of line maybe. i havent properly checked the front one......

I dont see why you would have the wrong one in it. Have you taken the runner off and re- fitted it on the window?

no i might do that but itd be easier to i suppose to find a 3dr in a yard and bust that apart for a good look......the window was very slow when i got the car and i remember changing that runner but swear it came off another 3dr car. it might even possibly be a drivers side runner that ive fitted upside down maybe as the bolt holes would match............the curve of the runner would be slightly different if it was mounted upside down.

hopefully come the weekend my local scrappy will have some Puntos in. Sods law i just had a shell with doors scrapped and the the local salvage yard had about 3 puntos in which have all now met their makers.
