Running lean = If the engine does not get enough fuel. This is what kills almost every modified turbo engine. (På dansk: Hvis motoren kører magert, så får bilen for lidt benzin, og den tændingsbanker og ødelægger motoren)

This is why you either put in a chip that matches the modifications, or have the engine management mapped by someone.

Do you have the original turbo?

I suggest you fit it and use the car as standard, then fit a seb0 chip.

the reason for the turbo upgrade, and engine rb, was the org. turbo died.
i have talked to mrhans, about a seb4 chip, manual boost controler and a few other bits, i might go with that option, and just run 1 bar.
just need to save up a bit

i think my shopping list will be as following.

    seb4 chip from Mr hans
    manual boost controller
    fuel presure regulator
    (fuelpump) maybe
    a boost gauge

if i understand all this correct, this would do it for me, and get the car running with the gt2554R turbo?

Now i just need to find out what to buy. maybe some used parts, since i am on a budget.

    Any idear what to buy?

I am currently looking in to get one of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STACK-Digi...item58a6d38bf2

    anyone had experions in this?

think ill get it to make sure iam not running lean.
In my head, this, a fuel presure regulator and maybe a boost gauge is what i need to make sure the gt2554r runs as it should for a start. and maybe later on get a chip from stack and do the mapping?

so many ifs and things to consider

Dont have experience of that. However stack have a good reputation in the digital dash world.

Innovate widebands are the normall sensor type used on the punto.

    Hello!

The Stack is nice, but i would prefer VEMS. Excellent quality! You have EGT and Wideband in one 52mm Gauge. With an free firmware upgrade you have an free Eletronic Boost Controller! We use here all this Gauge. Just perfect!

wems could be what i am looking for.

I really want the car to look as normal punto, not having alot of gauges etc in the car.

I like the idea that nobody will know what it can do, before i want to show off
i am too old for big wheels, wings, strange collors and gadgets in my cars.

So it would be great to have all the gauges in one small unit i can hide away or something
