Ah I'm so tempted! Iv always wanted one of these badly
Regretfully putting my Uno turbo up for sale, due to not having my garage built and the continuation of my Punto gt i cant justify having the Uno sitting about any more.
So heres the details.
Mk2 Uno Turbo 1372cc
1990 - H reg
100k
Only 6 previous owners
No t&t
Log book present
2 x keys
Alarm system
Non Sunroof model (so no rust issues there)
I bought the car from a chap in Bradford where he had it dry storred in his garage since 2002 until i purchased it early this year.
So i managed to get it running but havnt driven it, many new parts and service items fitted along the way.
It will require trailoring away its not driveable as it is, ive recently removed the gear box to fit a new clutch kit and clutch slave cyliner while the box was off i de-greased it and painted it and free'd the clutch arm off aswell before re-fitting.
The engine has been treated to new NGK plugs, new fuel filter, new dizzy cap, new rotor arm, new HT leads, new ignition coil, new air filter and comes with a new oil filter.
The car will require both sills welding, the floor and rear arches addressing see pics below.
All 4 suspension turrets are in good shape which is rare for a car of this age.
My plan was to strip the car down and have all the welding done before getting it re-painted but space restrictions have beaten me, if your decent at welding then your half way there or perhaps re-shell the car is another option if a mint Uno can be found.
There were a few interior trim bits missing when i got the car but have since sourced everything so its complete now, its also fitted with new Koni adjustable suspension 35mm springs, 4 new calipers and discs and pads.
I found a 4" Scorpion exhaust system along with a rare stainless steel down pipe which is fitted to the car.
Sitting on 14" Punto GT alloys
The two front wings have rust so ive purchased two new ones to go with the car, the drivers door is rusty aswell so i have a decent replacement door as part of the sale.
The car is pretty original which is how it should be, oem Air box, Momo steering wheel with chequered interior complete with an un-cut parcel shelf.
I have started to clean the engine bay up, removed the inlet manifold and refurbed it cleaning the injectors aswell.
All electrics work as they should, lights, horn windows ect....
It will require a rear brake pipe making up as one is split plus the oil cooler has a leak a new one is supplied with the car though.
So pics of the car...
Inlet manifold re-furbed
Gear box painted and fitted
Please dont waste my time we all know these are rare cars nows, ive detailed it as fairly as i can so only contact me if genuine.
Price wise i require around £895 ovno i am open to haggle though
Location - East Sussex 30 mins from M25 (Godstone junction)
