    Punto evo

    Hey I was just wondering is the evo abarth chasis better then the gts? I drove one the other day it felt ok but couldn't really push as the sales guy was in the car with me

    well its bound to be stiffer than the mk1 punto whose chassis design goes back at least 2 decades now.
    that helps the suspension work better but whether the evo is better than the mk1 god knows.id need to drive them back to back.i dare say its far more composed and compliant than a mk1.

    I do prefer driving my gt more then the evo but my gt is modified quite abit, I've had the gt along time now, just curious about the evo abarth, it felt heavy when I drove it but maybe a modified one will be a lot better hmmm

    Drove an abarth GP today wasn't impressed yes everything was nice and tight but my gt would have it for breakfast !

    Modify the supersport to a similar level and you will change your mind.

    I had the privalidge of a ride in tims at about 180bhp or something and it was quite impressive up to 120 ish

    Yeh the one I'd like to buy is the esseesse version which is 180bhp, does any one know what there like to insure?

    Any of the new ones can have the essess kit added. However it has to be fitted within the first 3 months since regestration if i recall correctly.

    Its also delivered in a wooden abarth crate lol

    the cabins look nice. i bet they are a decent package allround and pretty cheap to run. no idea what they go for these days........

    slightly OT but i see the 0-100 time of these is 17.2s - not bad. think the GT new was 22.4 !

    That's pretty good, seen them on eBay for around 5-6k for the non esseesse one
