Hi av been hearing some crazy valves nowadays am guessing there external wastegates , is there any dump valves that you can buy to make flutter sounds ?
Only reason I ask mates got a starlet gt with external and let's off some sounds !

Not really what I'm wanting lol my mates are running tial bovd etc and sound awesome got a shot of one on my gt and it sounded **** with barely a dump he was running 0,9 bar I'm running 1.2 don't understand y ?
The question is is there any good crazy sounding ones eithout the killer wastegate flutter , turbo stall etc
Hks adjustable bov you can adjust to pretty much what ever sound you want it to make.
youre right about some of the newer sounds you hear on the road between gear changes. hard to explain some over the old skool p-tisch sound in words. its even harder to suss if its coming from a diesel these days. like a wooing owl with a stutter
is about as close as i can get to describing it.
ive also heard some OTT exhaust sounds lately from large NA barges like the 5 series. very strange roaring/ripping noises.
its certainly turns heads but not always for the right reason.
