In Holland the welder of the cage has to be certified! This welder has to show once/twice per year that he can weld by FIA standards to keep his license.

Once a welder has the FIA license to weld, every cage manufactured by him is instantly approved as a FIA certified cage.

Not sure if there are differences between countries on this topic, but don't think so seeing FIA is world wide implemented.

Pretty sure it's the same over here shooks!!! Places like custom cages require a test price to be welded if its not fitted by them!!
