Thinking of selling the gt?
I've been looking at these for a couple of weeks now and really like them. I need something reliable good on fuel and has a little bit of performance. Has anyone owned one or know anything about these cars (pros and cons) I know that they get good mpg and with a remapped they can get to 210hp and 300ft lb and can return a better mpg. If anyone has any more info that would be good. Cheers.

I would steer clear of the MK5 tdi's to be honest. They are prone to turbo and clutch (flywheel) failures, which is a lot more likely when mapped. Whole load of other common issues with that engine too. stick with the older mk4 1.9 PD or stretch to the 2.0L Common Rail engine in the mk6.
I've had my mk4 for 4 years now and hammer the life out of it daily
Nah not selling the gt just need a reliable and cheaper to run daily drive. I will look more into them may join a forum to find out more cheers lads.
