    Call me a liar then but I've seen this first hand on the golf in question I was astounded that it happened, it's not something that happens straight away it happens in due time of being hounded every time the car is used!! Honestly!! And the intercooler in question was not a cheap one either!! Ill try and find the picture on Facebook and tag you later on Todd!!

    I know the pace intercooler was over 300 new however the construction of the intercooler was still poor. The value was due to the constructed outlets and not the construction of the cooler itself. Bear in mind that these pace intercoolers were made aroud 2000-2003 over 10 years ago

    But there's no 'horsepower' going through the intercooler? Even if you said the torque damaged it that still wouldn't make sense.

    It's only air till it goes bang...

    Exactly, the only way I can see this happening is if the cooler is restricting flow, but I still believe a hose would pop beforehand

    The pace one I had started to get saggy with age, thats bound to make it weaker.

    ok calm down.im not trying to get a fortune frit or lie about it.
    it is was it is.if some joey wants to weigh it in fine.it doesnt leak
    so i couldnt bring myself to bin something that still works.

    maybe theres some truth to what beau said.......
    and if you buy it just to weigh it in more fool u if you live
    a distance away as buyer collects.no postage so do da math.....
