Punto mk2 coil spring replacement

Yesterday I replace a snapped spring on my punto the springs are exactly the Same same amount of coils and stuff but after fitting it all its now higher the side iv done and also when you turn the wheel you can here a really loud twanging noise ? Any suggestions urgently

Yeah sounds like its not seated correct, check it.

It's seated in the cup at the bottom properly

Needs to be seated properly top and bottom

I just noticed the one I did doesn't have a gap like the other one whys that ?

Did you fit the top mount in the correct place?

Maybe I need to spin the top mount then
