    engine remove

    hi i have removed all the wiring and top end down to pistons what else is to undo or remove before it drops want engine and box out together thanks

    Why have you taken the head off? You don't need to do that to remove the engine.

    Driveshafts, water piping etc then the engine mounts...

    i took the head off due to it was loseing water when standed engine was running and i asked because i cANT FIND AN ENGINE REMOVAL THREAD

    There are loads of topics on removing engines. It's really not rocket science.

    You have to disconnect everything that joins the engine to the car.

    Wiring
    Water pipes (inc heater matrix) and radiator
    Exhaust
    Power steering pipes (if you have them)
    Drive shafts (you may wish to remove the front suspension)

    Once you've done all that then you need to remove the four bolts holding the front engine mounts on (one mount in each inner wing) and them three in the rear gearbox mount.

    Then reverse.

    thanks punto boy is it easier to drop full suspesion with the drive shafts attached for easier asscess
