great ad beau
ok so i know its not a punto! but people have advertised other makes on here so must be ok and you never know, someone on here might know someone who wants one this is defiantly faster than any punto you can buy for the same money
grey pulsar gtir, forged with GT2871r running 365.1bhp / 370lb ft torque
very fast car, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and 1/4 mile is mid 11's.
excellent for all road/track/racing, the turbo is fast spooling while full boost is held til rev limiter.
its fitted with one of the best front mount intercoolers money can buy designed specifically for the gtir with a short pipe run to deliver more power and fasting spool time, and cost over £1000.

Vehicle Key facts:
Early Phase 2 model (no umbrella holder)
Factory NON-ABS model
Original import, JAP spec in KPH
Late Import (2007)
1 previous UK owner
This is my 2nd gtir, and this is a great example.
6 months MOT
5 months TAX
130,000km/80,000miles
The bodywork is reasonable for its year, it has quite a few car park dings but no scratches or crash damage, polishes up really nicely. The roof has some lacquer peel, but nothing to really spoil the look of the car, could be re-painted for about £100. The rear arches have a very small amount of rust but both rear wheel arch trims have been removed for inspection (rust free behind these) and it is very minor, I have rust treated and touched them up so it will not get any worse.
The underside and floor pan/sills can only be described as excellent, there is no rust anywhere and it is original and has never been welded (very rare). I was planning to re-underseal the underside in a few weeks but have only got as far as applying primer to a few areas where the underseal was starting to peel off, I will probably leave it like this so the new owner can see just how clean and rust free the car is, but you will need to re-apply underseal to protect it in the future.
The steel brake pipes throughout the car are all still original and rust free, very rare, and shows its been looked after (garaged/and or used only in dry weather)
Next onto the main attraction of this car, the engine/running gear/suspension has had a fortune spent on it.
Within Approx 15,000 miles ago the following work was carried out.
ENGINE:
Block rebored & head reconditioned
86.5mm JE pistons
Garrett GT2871R 0.64 (the best turbo ever made for the sr20det)
ARP rod bolts
ACL crank bearings
RadTec radiator/intercooler (short pipe run) (cost £950)
HKS 1.2mmm Head Gasket
Mocal 16 row Oil Cooler
Z32 MAF
720cc Denso injectors
Custom side exit exhaust with de-cat (road legal and passes MOT emissions test because its not listed in the book/system so has to be tested on the default non-cat test)
Samco rear engine hoses
Walbro 255 fuel pump
polybushed engine mounts
HKS oil filter
apexi air flow convertor (some box with flashing lights which was fitted in japan? Lol)
BC8RES plugs
ACT Extreme Organic Clutch
Uprated clutch fork
short shifter (genuine make not cheap ebay one)
Mapped to a safe 365.1bhp/370lbft torque @ 1.4 bar (boost now set up better and holding 1.43 bar/peaking at 1.49 bar, expected to be a safe 370BHP)
It has a Blitz SBCII I.D boost controller which is easy to use but still a complex bit of kit with a lot of settings/perfect control of the boost.
CHASSIS:
Tein SS coilovers with adjustable top mounts
Whiteline Rear anti roll bar
Willwood 4 pots brakes
Cusco front and rear upper strut braces
Its sitting on 15” Impul RS lightweight wheels which hqve been painted bright orange with hankook ventus evo 2 tyres with good tread all round, fantastic grip & fantastic handling due to the 15” alloys & coilovers
Its got a CAT 1 cobra alarm, recently fitted with receipt.
INTERIOR:
3x aftermarket gauges, boost, oil pressure and oil temp (oil temp not yet wired up)
I have changed the interior to Phase 1 with un-cut parcel shelf
deep dish steering wheel
Flocked dash
Other points to note:
Electric mirrors working including electric folding.
Genuine Nissan headlight covers
Genuine Nissan Wind deflectors
Un-cut front bumper with laguna splitter
the front seats I fitted are heated! But not wired up, but im sure it would be a simple switch/relay job
I have lots of history/receipts for most parts.
No expense has been spared on this car, I spend nearly all my wages on it! This oil and filter is changed every 5000 miles, I only use the HKS hybrid oil filters, and I use fuchs pro s 10w50 ester fully synthetic, It was last changed around 100 miles ago (I have the receipts dated about 2 weeks ago from opie oils) and around 8 weeks ago it had New plugs, dissy and rotor.
It was imported and registered with the DVLA correctly, most gtir’s including my previous one are on the logbook as ‘nissan’ details unknown, this car correctly listed on the V5 as Nissan Pulsar GTiR.
Bad points?
The speedo is not working, not been investigated because it has never bothered me.
The passenger electric window is slow going up, but works well once its been lubricated.
Engine bay needs tidying but mechanicly/its function is perfect, looks unloved but trust me- its not!
the rear bumper is still cut out for an exhaust. (now side exit)

Speedo doesn't work?
MOT fail straight away then. You should get that fixed before you buy it.

It is illegal to drive without a speedo
But amazingly it is NOT checked on an mot!
I thought if it was there it should work. I knew it was illegal. A friend if mine got done years back in his mk1 Golf (20VT conversion) when he got pulled over.

The speedo is now an mot testable item, and can be failed.
But it must be obviously not working, we are not required to test it, its got to be clearly broken, ie needle missing/needle stuck etc
They are awesome cars wish I had the money.
I tell you what, I'd also take a punto in part exchange!
No chance mate I love my punto.
