Haha Im going to mate I rarely use car anyway so only be on track or Santa pod I will keep the parts so if I don't like I can just put it back on ,Im Hoping to get more feel of the track etc

You will need the knuckle link bar too to conver over
Will he? I'm not sure. When converting my first Punto to a GT I fitted the PAS rack and never changed the steering column. I could be wrong but mine fitted without problem.
I also had 17" wheels on that car without PAS (before conversion) and it wasn't that bad to park really even with my tiny 320mm steering wheel.

Mmmmm I can't remember if I changed my Colum when I done my conversation I must of done for it all to fit lol , however they do 2 types of manual racks for mk1 , maybe one fits the gt Colum and 1 doesn't
