Yeah agreed. Surely when there's a recess for a standard sized plate you would put a normal plate on ... Fair enough if it's smoothed or has a smaller recess for a bike plate.

Off a mk1 golf I think
The stud pattern, offset and centre bore suggest that conclusion too ash, mk1/2 golf but that is the only photo of these wheels other than my ones I can find online
A mate has a mk1 golf cab with these wheels on.
