    engine remove

    Right best way to remove my punto engine do they drop out bottem or do u have to lift out

    Best way?

    remove all trims, wings, bumper etc

    Stihl Saw through front chassis legs

    disconnect all wires pipes and engine mounts

    take weight of engine and gearbox with forklift, then drive forklift backwards!

    .......but if you want to use the car again

    I recomend lifting it up and out with gearbox disconnected

    Ok dude I will lift it out lol unless u have any nice shells needing an engine

    none of my shells are nice once ive sawed through the chassis legs

    Drop the engine out the bottom.

    Remove bumper and support bar. Disconnect everything.
    Jack it up as high as poss
    Take the weight of engine and box on trolley jack, I use bit of scaffold board to spread the weight.
    Undo bottom of mounts
    Lower engine and drag it out

    Off course if you dont mind removing bumper , and rad crossmember then drop it out bottom

    Tim once tried taking it out the top.....it took him 3 days to do the exchange on Cats cab lol.

    The way I said takes 2-3 hours tops. Oh I forgot to remove drive shafts
