Not wanting to stretch this thread out unnecessarily but I got mine back from Pete today and I am very impressed with the finish - shame it wont be visible on the car! Even with 3 brand new engine/box mounts I still have some on-off throttle movement of the motor so hopefully this will sort the slight rocking out permanently. Will report back once its fitted next week.

Ive gone for the slight softer fast road compound rather than the race.

OK went to fit mine today but kind of thought it might be a problem. i remember changing the old mount before was an arse getting it out and as the evil one is much thicker at the rubber end it may not go in.

today i couldnt even get my old one out but regardless of this am I right pete in saying to fit yours the support bracket to the gearbox has got to come off anyway? suns setting and the colds started to set back in. late start didnt help today.

I managed to wiggle mine in without removing the bracket. Think I got one of the lads at work to open up the gap by moving the engine with a lever.

You could loosen the gearbox mount on the chassis leg also Stuart and support underneath with a jack.

    Looks very good quality Pete!!!

yeah good idea actually. got to replace the gasket between the elbow and downpipe so might just as well wait till that arrives and then do them together - get the downpipe off rather than strain the flexi.

Very happy with my engine mount, when I first put it on it vibrated through the car loads but after driving it for an hour it went back to normal, alot smoother changing through gears an feels alot solid, no judd when changing an less wheel spin
