windows are fully down bud its sittin about 40cm away from the windscreen bud
pictures of the roof?
This might sound silly and not practical but close the roof as much as you can, then whack your heater on full blast until is baking inside. The heat should help the roof to stretch a little bit more. Mine does this in winter and cold evening. I need to adjust the velcro straps in the roof. I vaguely remember them being near the back of the roof lining. Hope you close the bugger!
al get a pic of the gap just now bud
Also check out the roof punp while someone else is closing the roof for you. Could be hydrulic fluid level issue, etc...
thanks smokesvill al try that aswell
how do i upload pics
over time the webbing staps become worn stiff and even unusable.
adjustment can be made by various things such as adjusting the velcros in the roof.
the best way though would be to set up the roof properly with new webs and get the adjustment right again
if you have the removal and reffiting part of the fiat manual there are a number of ways to adjust the roof when fitting a new one. each of which can help in this case.
the punto was one of the first cars i remember to have an electric roof so its not going to be the best. but they are pretty good for what they are.
