HELP ! Bonnet cable snapped and bonnets locked ?

If its anything like the MK1 if you jack it up grab a torch and get underneath and look just over the rad you should see the catch, try stick your hand it and push it with your finger.
Again im not sure if it works on the MK2 puntos. Oh and if its alarmed make sure you unlock the car first or you may set the alarm off

Done it was a night mare but managed to unbolt the full mechanism through the grill now gotta buy a new grill bonnet catch and cable costly
