Right I got a gearbox diff seal today then it seems a bigger then the hole is and it doesn't wanna go in but been told its the right seal for my gearbox. Are they hard to get in..?? And links to the gear box seal please so I can double check my seal to the link thanks..!!

I have the fiat garage round the corner from me and I could compare for you.
I needed to buy one for mine and my mate had it all done within the hour.
I didnt get it from fiat I got it from a car parts place ill have a look for a part number and pm ya mate

I really couldn't tell you my mate took my car, he's also a mechanic, so I'm not sure if he took it to work and did it their on his lunch break or in the evening when he got back.
Think the seal cost me under £10 and he works on 2 pints for an hours work.

You don't need a press for the gearbox seal, you should be able to gently tap it back in with a rubber mallet.
yeah double check the part numbers. it will always be a touch bigger than the hole otherwise it wont do its job of sealing.
usually you lube the new seal up with some fresh engine or gearbox oil then squarely tap into position. half the problem is keeping the seal square as you fit it.
your definitely fitting it the correct way around?
