I don't think I have actually seen a picture of the car?!?

    Also, why such huge spacers?

I am widening the car partly for the look, but mostly for performance on the track. Only spacers in the back, and longer/custom lower control arms in the front.

The car it self can be seen here:

But I am using a new shell that have never been on the road. Hopefully I get it set up on a frame so that I can start building..

Quite a lot of additional unsprung mass there! Not to mention the additional inertia. Sure it will look good though.

Well, I am going to use lighter rims, so that will equal it out, but later on, I might try to widen the rear subframe instead. The solution with spacers is being used on quite a few racecars with no problems though.

I am aware that it's not a perfect solution, but I will have to compromise a bit when I want that wide a car/wheel base.

The right tools is half the job, or how is it?

Today, I bought a used workbench/table and made myself a nice little welding area. Just needs a steel plate on top of the table.

Had my 195/50-16" R888 mounted on a set of 7,5x16" ET30 rims, that I have borrowed to model/build the wider wheel arches. Will be fun to see how wide it will be with the 70mm spacers

Standardwheels are 5,5x13"ET45 with 175/60-13" tyres...
