looks around the same size, thimk you will get around 190bhp, need t25 or bigger for 200+.
i have a turbo dynamics md56 turbo on my uno and am just seeing if anyone can shed some light on it, turbo dynamics no longer has the specs for it, i am going to be having my uno mapped by leighton in a few months, how does this turbo compare to the likes of the md103? i have tried searching on here and apparently the md103 hits a brick wall at 200bhp?
a few pictures of the md56 compared to a standard turbo, both inlet and exhaust wheels are much larger on the md56

Have you any pictures of the exhaust side as well?
Al get pics when I put a for sale thread up later on .
How do you know its an MD56?
There used to be an MD57... which was a mildly reworked standard turbo and was a lower spec than the MD103. The next turbo over the MD103 from TD was something like an MD15-something.
MD103 struggles to make 200, MD57 IIRC was hardly any better than stock, been ages since anyones mentioned using one, donkeys years...
superman its defo called a md56 because i still have the original reciept and it cost £750 back in 2002, i did send it back to turbo dynamics to have the wastegate ported out but they didnt have the information on this turbo anymore when i asked them
Maybe it preceeded the MD57 then because it was around 2006 I last heard/read of one of those anyway.
Doesn't look like its going to be good for big output tbh, its built from the stock unit so too small for a decent 200hp, it'll be running at too fast and too hot and just be of detriment to your setup.
Is the tts2 made from the standard unit?
Superman is the md103 the same on the exhaust side as the standard turbo or is it larger like my md56?
Its ever so slightly larger, and larger on the compressor side with a different wheel.
TTS2 isn't born from the standard turbo, only Turbo Dynamics units are based on the stock unit.
