Hello & Good Morning.

Firstly I would like to comment on how friendly & useful this Forum is !

My names Jon, I am 19 years old from Kettering Northamptonshire & will be turning 20 next sunday.
I have a real passion for Italian Cars due to my father being a big influence on myself.
First car being a Imola Blue Cinquecento sporting & my second a Uno 45s with Punto 60 running gear along with AVO Coilovers ( this made the vehicle extremely good fun to drive ) .

Last year i set my heart on a Ducle Grey punto GT3 that was advertised in Birmingham & was owned by Stuart (Clarkster) on this forum, due to insurance costs (£2500) i was gutted to have to tell Stuart i was not in a position to buy the vehicle anymore. 1 year later with another years no claims made things afordable to buy / insure a Punto GT. I managed to find myself a standard Broom Yellow GT3 with 49,000 miles from new including 16 stamps in the service book. Yes this vehicle has only had 2 owners from new the second owner turning 70 Years old the week after i purchase. Many plans have been thought / talked about regarding sensible modifications.

I hope everyone is in good health on this forum & i look foward to meeting some new faces in the up coming Events of 2013.

If the GT is in good nick, don't go mad on modifications too soon, make the most whilst its still OEM.

Thank you for the warm welcome, i will get some photos in the next few days. As regards to modifications i will only be doing sensible ones for now as the vehicle is my daily driver.

@puntoboy, would be good to meet up sometime if you are located in Wellingborough.

I did see some members are attending Santa pod. mentioned this to dad & he said about coming in his mk2 Uno aswel.
