It's what we use to clean our engines at work mate, just don't get it on your skin or paint work lol. I'll fill a 5ltr bottle and stick it in the garage for when your passing

Better still could meet up and take the box over to my work. Can then TFR it, but we've also got big industrial pressure cleaner with steam

So cleaned up the inside of the box today but cant remove the clutch arm for some reason its virtually solid

It appears the clutch lever/arm is incredibly stiff ie can only move it by using a hammer to tap it back and forth, was like this when i bought the car hence the clutch issues.

I take its probably seized so will require removing and cleaning up?

How does it come out, i removed the top cir-clip and tried to tap it out but no joy?

The nut to left of the shaft holds the casing onto the gear side of the box so this isnt a clue to its removal either.

vern there are them copper inserts on the fork arm top and bottom they usally sieze up normally replace them ,

to get it out if i can remember you dont nock it down you hit it up as far as it can go then you pull the bottom out,and then you can knock it down from the top .... if that makes sense lol

Cheers mate so them copper inserts pull out do they? They like clips then?

Yeah usually the shaft taps out from the bottom but there no hole in the casing at the bottom to do this??

Great news is that i managed to free the fork up today without having to remove it which was a bonus, got it loose enough to regrease then worked the arm about a million times until it moved freely, started to paint it aswell.
