price depends upon your specific modifications though, they are in region of £150-300ish though which is cheap.

You're also relying on people wanting to travel to Bristol or wherever FCP are to have this remap - it's a small market. The beauty of POTR was that you could get a remap delivered to your door which was tried and tested.
If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.

This thread is here to discuss that fact that POTR has Now closed. Not the pros and cons of any other company or how much worse/better their Products are than seb chips.

    Please act accordingly

    I don't get how though.

Legal and moral issues aside a copied chip is a direct copy no? Same as a cd it's all electronic data which is simply reproduced.

Yes thats correct. However sometimes they have a POTR label but are't copies. One copy was just a standard map with boost cuts removed and no rev limiter i.e. not actually a copy.

A friend of mine purchased one of the £30 quid jobbies off ebay and it suffered catastrophic ignition faliure after 2 weeks of being fitted.

Put the OE chip back in and all was well!!

2nd hand or not I would only trust a genuine Seb chip. Let us be honest there will be more chips out there than GT's on the road anyway!!

I've selling off the rest of what I've got and that's it.

    Done.

By the way. If the winning bidder has the opportunity to duplicate these chips they could open up contact with Silvio and distribute the rest of the range too if interested. PM me for details.
