Opey's New GT3

Alright people,

well ive finally done it, been waiting 5 years to buy another gt (having kids and house set me back a bit). My first gt was a black gt2 which i modified inside and out and managed to get a feature in fast car, was in 2004 though.

I am just like you lot and punto gt's seem to be my passion, wife doesnt understand but hey, she might have to take a back seat for a while.

Ive been tracking this gt for about 6 months and i had to sell a few car parts i had left over and use my savings but she is finally mine.

Went to see him in bath on saturday and the 500 mile round trip was well worth it. Matt was a really top guy and its really good to buy a car off someone who has been so passionate about it.

So ive brought it back up north to Bolton. People keep asking me "why" being 30 they think im too old now, but its something ive got to get out of my system, and like i tell them its my passion.

Ive bought it as a car for life, its gonna be garage and used weekends only. No plans for the near future, im loving it being almost totally standard. Just a few wear and tear parts to change and a couple of dings to get the bodywork mint.

so hopefully i will see you all soon and i can bring her to shows and meets and get to know some of you personally.

Cheers guys, like I said I've got kids now and money is always tight so I had to choose carefully and really believe this is the best I could of bought with my budget.

I know were not too old cos it still puts a smile on my face everytime I turn the key.

And Chris I've met you before, came to your house and bought a dash off you, long long time ago, maybe 7 years now.

Yeah we will have to meet up jimbob, were abouts are you, im in Harwood.

Bevvy, she ran like a dream coming home, no probs at all, it was just really hard driving behind her for 3 hours sat in a grubby van, lol. Have you got your new beamer yet?

gonna try and get to pod, bring a BBQ and that, just be bit daunting coming on your own.
