Just out of curiosity I've just popped my details into Comparethemarket for my GT with all the mods and it came out at £700. I reckon I can get that a lot cheaper.

My quotes are about £300, but that's with 8years ncb.

I can only imagine without my ncb it would be at least £8-900?

I have 6 currently but that's also with my list of eventual mods declared.

    Punto GT: £1040

so maybe i wont get one then
Insurance quotes are generally based on the grouping of the car amongst other things but if a certain model has shown to have more claims than others, insurers can view them dimly.

That's the only explanation I can work out! Punto GT's aren't a problem on our scheme though
