Hmm, if it looks and hisses like a snake, its a snake!

let the seller play their ebay games and hopefully you might end up with a 2nd chance offer but then I would say youve got even more of an advantage than you had before now. no actual buyer only your mate with cash. if his best previous offer was say £3500 then i would go in with a less enthusiastic approach and offer a few hundred less than your old best offer.

keep an eye on it as it approaches the 12 hour cut off prior to the auction end - the mystical high bidder might withdraw their bogus bids at 12hrs and 1 minute to go leaving you holding the baby.

also cant stand adverts that say they dont need to sell the car and if this that and the other blah blah blah they will just stick it back in the garage..........yeah, whatever.

and the practice of private listing - bidders identity hidden seems to be on the increase on ebay......quite frustrating.

Wish I had seen this rageing on earlier.

A very close acquaintance of mine has been to see the car and made a bid over the £3500 mark (although for his sake I will not disclose exactly how much) - so I would say hold your horses there are other people interested in the car and contrary to peoples belief there is life beyond these little internet forums and potential legitimate bidding going on.

    Just coincidence then huh.....

Anyway the offer Duncs made was close onto the current bid now, so yeah if they are genuine bids going on then fair play.

Nothings rageing just feel a little bit kept in the dark following numerous non replied texts and non returned phone calls to Duncs.

I hope it goes to a good home as it is very nice indeed.

Nobody is required to get back to anyone via eBay, and maybe they're not getting back because there are better offers on the table.

The amount of people I ignore on ebay because they're just not offering enough, well if I had a penny for every time, and all that...

the worse are those that cant or wont read listings fully/properly and then ask you dumb questions. they certainly get shown the rusty sheriffs badge (ignored).

Dan i clearly said text and phone calls were being ignored another one last night in fact!

We made the effort to view the f*cker with a sound offer that has been increased have been shunned/ignored, a little curtesy wouldn't go a miss ffs.

Oh and there had been a bid removed today so make of that what you will.
