New member with Punto T-jet sporting

    Hi all

As of last friday I am now the owner of a punto grande 1.4T and I've never liked punto's but I am chuffed to bits with this.

I think it is pretty much full spec with leather seats, Bluetooth, panoramic sunroof, cruise control and all that guff.

I'm fairly eager to learn as much as I can about these and work out what's best tuning wise. I've owned a few nissan's in the past and definitely have the modifying bug lol.

First problem I've found is I can't connect my iPod up to it, if anyone can help with that it would be much appreciated.

Immediate plans are to get an induction kit or uprated panel filter and then look into remapping. (she's pretty thirsty)

    Cheers for looking

I took the radio out today as I'm trying to work out what lead I need to connect a ipod and I'm still none the wiser. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

AFAIK, there should be a USB port in the glovebox, although I'm unfamiliar with iPod connectivity capabilities.

Yeah there is a usb in the glove box but I believe its not compatible with ipods. I heard whispers of a lead that you could plug into the back but I've had a look and I don't know what lead you need or anything else like

There seem to be a number of ifs, ands or buts for iPod/iPhone connectivity, depending upon Reg. year and the presence or absence of the Blue and Me option.

I'd sugggest you read and fully understand the details contained here:
    http://www.fiat-accessories.com/Fiat...and-Me-Adaptor
before working out if you can use just a 3.5mm audio output to OEM 6-pin Aux lead (no Blue and Me), or need a Blue and Me adapter and USB cable.

There may be cheaper alternatives, but I haven't researched that yet.
