    Thats the 997 Turbo Clarkson loved on TG, different beast to these from the factory.

    A half decent 996 Turbo will still fetch 20K+.

    Mind you, can't get much decent new for 20K these days!

    My favourite Turbo Porsche road going model

    is the 993 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (93-95) gorgeous car.

    Myself Kyle and dan are having a discussion about the price of 996tt at the moment. Dan thinks its too much money. Me and Kyle agree that it's a hell of a lot of car for £20-25k

    Myself and the wife were contemplating the new shape (b8) s4 next year as they are around the same price range, but may have to try talk her round to a 996 instead lol

    Would rather get an R34 GTR for the same cash.

    25k is still a lot to be spending on something second hand, probably thrashed and known for poor reliability.

    Was only post 2000 engined that were prone to cylinder walls cracking

    It's the non-turbos that are unreliable, different engines. Get it straight! I love R34s but it's just a Nissan. Fancy being a badge whore for once; something with a bit more class.
