    2013 pug 1.9 gti project

    i said my punto would be my last project but this come up so be rude not to,
    today i brought a 1988 pug 205 1.9 gti it has been sitting for 10 years

    this is in great condition considering its been outside for 10 years

    it has done 71k and im the 2nd owner from new, i know nothing about these cars so this will be a great learning curve,

    my plans are to restore this and get it as clean as i can

    lol i wish.... all the brakes are stuck on, and it hasnt been started for 10 years so, im going to put fresh fuel in it put oil down the bores, remove the cambelt cover to inspect belt, then turn the engine over by hand if all good im going to see if she starts then go from there

    Used to love these back in the 90's always wanted one when i was younger, will make a cracking project i imagine.

    everyone i speak to said how brillant these cars are.... the thing is i have a thing againest french cars haha.... but i am starting to really like i keep hearing good feeback about them

    They are great cars mate, ive had a 1.6 and 1.9 gti in the past and loved them both.

    its going to be a slow project not going to put loads of money into it all at once,

    Awesome cars, will be a classic. Friend had a 1.9 mounted to 1.6 box, also been in 170bhp one with mi16, seriously quick car

    Interior looks good if not a little dirty to be expected ofcourse, so i take it was parked up out side so check for rust under neath as they like our fiat like to eat themselfs.

    Always wanted a Dimma GTI too.

    Very nice, mate of mine had a blue dimma and another mate owned a Clio dimma, was going to put a 172 lump in to it.
