ECU replacement on a GT2

I'd like to replace the ECU on my Punto GT2
Will any work GT1,GT2 and GT3 or have a got to find a GT2 ECU with the exact same codes?
Will i also need to replace the Code module that stores the transponder codes?

Best to replace like for like. As far as I know they have different fuelling maps for the different compression ratios? I could be wrong though. No need to touch any of the key code stuff.

The fuelling between GT1/2 is the same. It's the immobiliser on the GT2 that makes the chipping different. Therefore you could buy a GT1 ecu and fit a GT1 Sebchip in it and it'll work.
