New track is wank the guys told everyone not to launch as the Tarmac is new it was a joke today a lot of people paid a lot of money only a few got to run. I know pod can't control the weather but the handling of the situation was apaling
Lol, After about four hours of waiting I get told "You have cut slicks, Don't launch it hard" I was pretty confused, I went there to race??
Paid for a hotel, £80 in diesel, £35 to race etc, Turns out we paid to watch them to prep the new tarmac whenever there was no rain! Shouldn't have took people's cash for a track that wasn't usable!! Sat through at least 2 or 3 hours of dry weather...

Yeah I bet that was annoying. Seems the Pro Racers are a lot more important than the public.

Why didn't you just launch anyway?? utterly pointless taking an Evo of any 4wd car up the strip for a best time if unable to launch it, the fooker will bog down and you lose time so it's a complete waste of time and effort.
Poor day but good to see people. I didn't even see 1 of there runs
Got the feeling they were using the general public to try the track there were still booking people in knowing full well they wouldn't get a run.
£120 in fuel
£10 at the gate
£25 to drive 400m
£20 in food and drink
Used 1/4 of a tank just warming the car back up.
Lets hope the national meet goes well
Santa pod is sh!t. Don't think I will go ever again. They charge people to watch them prep the new tarmack that's ****!
