I've joined today so that I can view your project threads to help a customer with his Punto 16vt conversion.

We mainly deal with Fiat Coupe models but we love all Italian models.

Presently we're looking at remaking the mounts so that the 16vt engine can be postioned correctly with clearence, as it is
the drive shafts fowl the subframe so I look forward to reading what other people have done to make this job easy.

We have a small handful of members who have done the 16vt conversion, although I've never heard any of them having issues with the driveshafts??

Our issue is the gaitors are presently touching the front vertical strut of the subframe, the engine is slightly to far back so there's no clearence and if left it'll just destroy itself.
