Have you tried creating a back up of your phone and then restoring to factory default and trying it?
Anyone else having intermittent issues with their camera, video recording more so. Seems to only really happen when it's in the craddle in the car/van. Basically it comes up with purple interference lines across the screen.

It's apparently do do with too much light flooding the screen.

I think that's a different issue although I don't have that either. Even did a panorama on a bright sunny day without a problem.
