    Tracking lost/stolen Iphone

Hi guys, lost my phone last night while out, and wondering how to go about tracking it. I've heard u can use an app to help fine it?

The Iphone is quite new to me and was still getting the hang of using it, but I was reading that u need icloud set up on the phone first in order to track it?

Would anybody be able tell me if it could be tracked or not

    Thanks guys

Bit late now I think. You need an app called find my iPhone then you you login to www.icloud.com and track it. But I don't think find my iPhone just works, you need to set it up in the first place.

Also the phone needs to be connected to the net, 3G or wifi for you to be able to find it.

If its off then you won't see it on the find my iPhone app.

But you need to get your phone to be configured in the app. If you don't have the app installed and logged in on your phone I don't think it works.

I'll try it with my iPad/iPhone now.

You certainly don't need another iOS device to check, login to www.icloud.com with your Apple ID then go to Find My iPhone. Then do to devices in the top left. If your phone is listed there, then you're in luck. If it's not, then it won't work.

Yeah. It's a shame we can't easily access tracking for mobile devices like you see on the TV. You should be able to call your phone provider and ask them to track it IMO especially if you think it's been stolen.

    Unhappy

I have rang them and asked about that, and was told they cant track it for me.

I've no idea if it's lost or stolen.. Was at a stag do last night drank far too much and have no memory of the night.
