Just got it back on the road again after a few weeks of tinkering... Took it down to a local industrial estate for a few quick snaps last weekend.

Not a hard conversion at all, easier than doing a 16vt in a GT that's for sure.

Just running on the standard ECU and map at the minute so I can't give it any abuse. Drives well though considering it's now got no VVT, no ICV and perminent 8 degrees more inlet timing.















Just waiting for my new ECU to be delivered, some bigger injectors then mapping time and hopefully double the standard power.

It's a Megane 225 engine with GT2860 on the back.

Well you can do quarter throttle for a bit but as soon as you hear it start come onto boost it missfires like crazy. Partly because the map will be waaaay lean and partly because its running the 172 map sensor which can't read boost so will be totally confused.

I'll swap you one wheel for the AVCR, I've got 5

For a clever person you're sh1t at maths! Standard power is 172ps, which is about 160hp i think. So somewhere near 320 will do me. Most say the gearbox can't cope with 300hp anyway lol.

Pmsl, Silly me thought you were doubling the power of the engine
