I was thinking about ordering a Kindle Fire HD this week but think i'll get the iPad mini myself now, we have an iPad2 but I can't prise it off of her most of the time and I find it too big and heavy to comfortbly sit and read with!

Anybody have a Nexus 7 or used one?

Keep hearing they're amazing but don't know a single person that has or has used one!!!

I've used a Nexus 7 and it's nice. But as was pointed out during the announcement yesterday there a very few apps that are designed for the screen size whereas the iPad has a lot of apps (250,000 IIRC) that are specific to the iPad and use the extra screen size to their advantage.

If you already have an iPad it's a nobrainer. iPad mini for sure.

I have an iPad 2 and I'll be upgrading to the new iPad 4th generation soon. Ordered a MacBook Pro 13 retina last night

Same here, ordered a MacBook Pro retina with the i7 2.9ghz duel core processor.

First apple laptop Iv had, got it on finance just waiting to hear back on it now

I would choose the Ipad Mini over the Android versions any day. The quality in apps alone is a dealbreaker for me on the Android platform.

But... If you own an Android phone, it might be worth considering the Android tablets, as you wouldnt have to buy all new apps.

Oh I forgot: I have Ipad 2, and The New Ipad and I am still gonna get the Mini as well.
