Hi , I found the forum whilst looking for info on my 1.2 Cabrio, She's not in the best of condition and has a few faults.. but overall I love driving her. No power steering, manual roof, someone has bypassed the heater at some point, no elec windows but great in the sun.
I'll carry on my reaserch and post in the not too distant future.

My 1.2 16V ELX Cabrio doesn't, and I don't think it had from new.

Ah well its a strange one,, Its in Tenerife so I assume it was for the Spanish market, Its a 1.2 Spi (8V ??) badged 'Punto s'. I would be interested if anyone can comment on wether it would have had power steering as manufactured.Welcome to Psc

It has been abused, I would like to thing due to the difficulty of aquiring spares on the island, but it could equally be due to previous owners' lack of finances or just mechanical ineptitude.
But it's just the 16v engine from a sporting?
