No you don't......
The enine isn't durable with stock displacement.
So how come not many people have fitted the 20vt lumps then!
I know someone with a 20vt fitted to a mk1, and he claims he never had to cut the chassis leg away.
too much torque for mk1 chassis that will only result to more spin...
2.0 is ok but for even better you can make it 1.9 if you don't like the way it works (coupe engines are a bit 'slow' to rev)..
