Most people who hate Boxsters have never driven one, let alone come close to owning one.

Beautifully balanced cars and the 'S' has more than enough go for most. We've had a Carrera and a Boxster S in the family and there is actually very little difference between them, except the extra practicality of four seats and slightly more go right at the top end in favour of the Carrera.

I'm 100% certain the Boxster is a great car to drive, that goes without saying. I just don't like the look of them at all, I'm not a particularly huge fan of Porsche at all tbh as they all look the same (to me anyway). Given the choice I wouldn't choose a Boxster. If I had the choice of a £50k car I would look at something like the GTR as Dan said or even the SLK 55 AMG.

Thing with most ford owners they think there are all in the same category as "cossys" they make some good cars but they rot just as bad or worse than fiats I'm open minded when it comes to cars I would have anything within reason but imo for what you pay for a punto gt you can't go wrong so scrap ya 50k car have a 800quid rot box
