I understand what your all sayin.. We used loctite as we had this problem before with the 1.4.. It kept coming loose reguardless whether we torqued it to 150nm like the book says.. It still came off... Everybody knows ardas middle name is limiter lol.. He loves it.. But sunday at santapod it just wouldnt put the power down no matter what he did.. So limiter ftw lol.. Its sorted now and wont be coming back off for a long while believe me!!!!!

Hopefully it doesn't come loose on the old 1.4 after the state the head was in!

With reguards to the pulley coming loose it doesnt affect the belt it just throws the electrical side of the timing out..just to clear that up..

the key its for the trigger wheel only?

We no that, but it shouldn't come off, unless theres something not right.

No the key is for both trigger wheel and bottom crank sprocket but unless the nut comes completely off the engine timing will not change..just the electrical signal changes.. @rachel.. There was nothin wrong maybe just slightly under torqued.. And the vibrations make it wiggle loose

I played a little bit with ARP bolts last weekend.
They are - on my opinion - a little bit too long for a good clamp. I will shorten my bolts 1mm to get sure that all fits great.

We used extra washers on the ones that were a little to long. It's not all of them.

I used ARP flywheel bolts, and torqued everything up to OEM values, but after reading this whole thread, i am in fear. Mine is just the sohc dedra 1.6 engine, but still...
