The engine with the best tuning potential for na tuning is the 1.8 16V but with no variable timing..
This is found on the marea 1.8 16V...
punto hgt/barchetta are the same but they have variable timing.

3-4 years ago a punto gt with this engine produced 310hp at 11.200rpm...

way more money than using a turbo instead..

The turbo engines are far more capable and reachbthose power figures with only minimal mods.

Over 11k rpm for that power is insane. Youd never get anywgere near that on normal drivibg.

That's a 1.8 16v engine, but he de-stroked the 2.0 to a 1.8 to be able to allow more revs with the turbo
