    Speed

    Curious does having 16inch alloys make the speedo in accurate?

    I got flashed on the way to the gym doing dead on on 30

    Not by that much no.

    Sure it wasn't another vehicle setting it off?

    You're afforded the 10% rule to account for mechanical differences and what not, plus abit extra so you must of been doing 34-35 or more to set it off. Even big big wheels shouldn't muck it up that much. As standard most speedos under-read a little bit.

    There was a car at the side of me that was closer to the camera, I 100% wasn't speeding, was watching my speedo becasue the road was straight and abit of a dip at the end, hopefully it was him, do they flash to warn??

    It'll depend upon the section of tyres fitted too, significant changes to 'rolling radius/diameter' are what causes speedo. inaccuracy.

    No, but it'd depend upon actual speed, whether it's network or film-based, and if the latter, whether or not there was unused film still available at the time. Just forget about it unless/until you get a nasty surprise in the post

    I think you should be ok, same thing happened to me I was doing just under 30mph and there wasnt another car in sight and I got flashed. So I waited for it to come in the post but it didn't come. The same thing happened to my mate he was doing about 30mph got flashed and nothing came through. So I think you will be in the clear mate.

    question is how many flashes went off 2 or 1.
    1 = no film or dummy
    2 = fine and points
