Arrow Non-Punto owner. Looking for a good one.

    Hi all,

a newbe that hasn't got a Punto yet but have been looking,
Sold my 52plate Smart car last week and now need another cheap run about.

My main car/sunday drive is a Subaru.

anyone give me some pointer on what to look for with a Punto??

what I've seen so far all look shed sand tatty.. doesn't anyone look after their car anymore??

Seen today a 2004/53 58k Punto Sport at £1890.. it was terrible.
a 52 plate with 52k in yellow.. £1500.. that looked like it had been around the world and back.. via another car hitting it!!

Are there any looked after car?

I'd like a yellow one.. no more than 10years old.. less than 60k miles

1.2 16v/8v.. as these are cheap to Tax insure.

stuff I've seen.... upsets me how anyone could look after their car like that then try and sell it on saying it in good condition.

And Dealers... well. Do i need to say anymore!!!

Shame really i know a lovely yellow GT for sale, mint condition and 72k on the clock

Good luck with finding what you are after, a lot of people do try there luck these days and i dont know how they have the nerve to say things that arent true knowing full well that the buying will only travel all that way to find out the truth anyway!!

I remember when i bough my GT i went to look at around 7 of them all over the place and every single time all i asked for from the seller was honesty as i wanted one in top top condition and all i ever heard was " The car is absolutly faultless and you wont find many better than this one blah blah blah" Only to turn up to find out it was a heap of s***.

Sounds like he is after a MK2/2b Sporting or equvalent. I think the MK1 will be too old for his tastes and liking and the paintwork and general appearance will probably be tattier than a say 2003/4 MK2.

    Unless of course its a MK1 with a re-spray
