I have to agree with Tom. Some people just shouldn't try so hard to modify
The twisted shots remind me of another forum photographer, not on here I hasten to add, that twists every damn shot to around 45 degrees. My current deal with him is that if he promises to never do that to my car I promise never to ridiculw him for doing it
Defo need a tripod for dark shots....or if all else fails somewhere sturdy to rest the camera on!
cheers for the response people, i can understand about the twisted shots i did do alot of normal ones but none came out any good, hopefully getting a tripod tomorrow so when i next give it a go they should mainly be normal angle pictures haha.
Got a hell of alot to learn but i learnt alot about the camera shooting in the dark tbh. expose and depth of field was good to play with down there.
Im actually partial to that astra even though alot hate it. Looks better than it did haha. And there are some "chavy" cars because they are the new young'ens of the group. They will learn haha
Its all about learning, i think you did good mate, you will learn your own style, these lot will soon shhhh when they see your photos on billboards and buses!
Very close to the mark Angie, it's mostly about understanding about your initial inexperience, asking, and then selectively taking onboard such advice as you're given. You have to learn what 'style' suits you best, in the end, no-one can tell you what is 'best', only what they think is best.
rite then here is a selection of some of my recent pictures:
