No it would have more power, but quite a bit more lag. . The rs4 engine is built by cosworth, there's quite a few people running. 650hp+ on unopened engine. The heads flow a lot more, but make less torque. The CR is quite a bit lower too. The top tuners all use s4 engines. They say a 500bhp s4 will spank a 500hp rs4

Presumably a 500hp 4WD V6 Audi will be the same as another 500hp V6 Audi. They probably use S4 motors because their easier to come by.

Apparently they just drive completely different dan, due to the CR difference. Spank was probably bad choice of words, a much better car to drive.
