    Mk1 Sporting 2.0 16v Turbo - Unfinished Project

I am officially putting this up for sale. I have lost interest in it completely and want a car that I can just get in and drive I have had it since December, and all I have done is accumulate parts for it but done hardly anything actually on the car. The Car itself has done circa 100k, and engine between 90-100k, I will get exact mileages tomorrow from both clocks.

The headgasket and timing belt were changed by Paul(Aki-Tamworth) whilst engine was out. The engine was mounted by him in exactly the same way that his own successful 400+bhp car is done, including the all important engine stabaliser which shows in the pics. The car does not have any front suspension or front wheels, but comes with a dolly that Paul made that the lower arms rest on to keep the car mobile, this is also shown below. I don't have the V5, Pauls brother sent it but it never arrived. This never bothered me as obviously its been no where near ready. I do have V62 (replacement logbook) here filled in though, and will be getting sent tomorrow.

    So Pics as it sits

I would like as close to what I paid for it back, which is £700. It also has the engine loom made up by Dean.

I also have the following parts that can be added to the buy at a nagotiated cost, but I will let bits go at a good price to the buyer of the car.

2 x sets of Brembo calipers, both with brackets. These will be going away this week to be rebuilt and powder coated. I also have one det of discs and one set of braided lines.

FMIC, bought from the USA, designed for a supercharged mustang. i bought this as to minimise pipework on the conversion, not a straight fit but the pipework route was very short, in short reducing lag.

Alloy Radiator, not designed for a punto, but when hung upside down all pipework lines up. main reason for this radiator though is that it has a 5mm ID take off which is needed for the turbo on the 16vt engine. I have threaded what would normally be the lower locating pins, so able to hang from a bracket.

D2 Coilovers, only ever taken out of the box for pictures. If you speak to Dean, he will advise that these are the best coilover option for the 16VT heavier engine, as you can adjust the hub section. This means that you can play with the height and the spring pre load, ie, lower the arch to wheel gap, but raise the actual car to floor gap for more practicality. Which you are unable to do with the likes of Spax RSX.

16" Team Dynamic Pro race 1.2's, all with road legal tyres, in relatively good condition. These wheels have passed hands a few time, I believe I am the 4th owner, The original owner is a good friend of mine.

I'm sure there is more, but I can't remember at present. The above items will not be for sale seperately until the car has been sold, if the car doesn't sell, then I will have to carry on and complete it.

As you can see, I haven't really spared any expense with this so far. I wanted it to be different to other 16VT conversions, hence choices like the fmic, radiator. I would love somebody to put their heart and sole into this and complete it, as I planned too, but unfortunately I've lost the love

Any questions feel free to ask

I wonder why he didn't go for the camber adjustable top mounts, though.
