Only forged con rods (pistons stock, Mahle forged), camshafts and very small head work.
Plus exhaust + inlet manifold, then you have 700HP+.
I will NEVER built a 800hp engine with any FIAT base engine.
There is nether a gearbox and nether a chassis available to handle this power.
Creating a Golf 2 with 4motion for example only needs money and time - but with 800hp you are not the fastest.
The power challenge in Germany is escalated.
1000-1100hp are the top power outputs of 1.8-2.0 l engines.
A very well done mapping is the most important.
I'm working on my UNO and Audi when it's possible.
Unfortunately I'm 500km away from the garage of my parents where I do this. Every 4-6 weeks I'm there for 2,5 days.
Chassis of my UNO is nearly finished. With roll cage.
Block with Pauter Conrods and CPS pistons is ready.
I only have to balance the crankshaft with the steel flywheel (Helix clutch).
Head is full ported, inconel exhaust valve. 7mm stems. Bronze guides and seats.
Turbo is a GT2871R with Tial 44mm waste gate.
Aim is 300-350hp in maximum, have to look to that all works like I want.
Intake manifold and camshafts will need a little bit more time - but then I think I can reach the target.
BUT the most important is the drivability and the fun with the car.
When I want more power I create more power - but I don't want more. It's to dangerous. Ok maybe you laught now.
I want to finish my UNO project and drive the car.
To sale the car brings nearly no money because there is no market for those cars.
And another project (new engine for my Audi) is enough for my short time in the moment.
Buying a E55 AMG, RS6 (V8 or V10), S8 (only V10) is maybe an option to have a powerful daily driver, but not yet. A little bit later.
I earn enough money to buy those cars (not new of course), so money is not the main reason why it needs so much time to complete my UNO.
