Omex rev limiter & launch control

Bought this for my alfa but found out it causes problems for twin spark engines, so is brand new and only been out the box for pictures.

    first dibs please. :-)

Does it fit 100% on a punto gt?
    How does it works?
Does it need to have some other parts at the car?

And are the "bangs" good for the exhaust and the turbo?

Yup it will fit on a GT, click the link in my post and you can look at the instructions on their website, its quite simple to use.

My understanding of it is that you connect the wires up to the coil packs, set a rev limit for launch (say 3500rpm) hold the button down, release the clutch and the revs will not go above 3500 until you release the button, reducing wheel spin. It works by cutting the spark. In theory it should give you a better launch if you test it and set the right limit (also giving lots of nice sounding pops and bangs from the exhaust, and flames in some cases).

Thats the launch control part of it, it is also a rev limiter, so you can set a rev limit for say 6500rpm and it will not go above that whilst driving. The rev limits are customisable up to 20,000rpm.

Thats about all i can tell you, search them on youtube and you can see what they do.

    (demon tweeks write up)

•Button Operated Lower Rev Limit To Reduce Wheel Spin
•Suitable For Most Engine And Ignition Types
    •Provides Smooth Engine Cuts
    •Variable Rev Limit Settings

The clubman rev limiter with launch control from Omex features a user selectable hard or soft cut, this award winning microprocessor based design provides one of the smoothest cuts found on an after market rev limiter. This rev limiter has an additional button operated lower rev limit to reduce wheel spin from the start line and is supplied complete with a waterproof switch for steering wheel, dashboard or gear knob mounting. The limit can be set from 1,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM for 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder, 12,000 RPM for 6 cylinder and 10,000 RPM for 8 cylinder. This rev limiter is available in two options of single coil and twin coil and is not suitable for CDI ignition systems.

All Omex microprocessor based shift lights and rev limiters feature Omex's acclaimed method of calibration. Shift point and rev limit is set independently of the car's tachometer, thereby removing any instrument error by incrementing in steps of 100 RPM by simply pressing a button on the unit. Precise digital timing ensures response within one engine revolution.

yeah the bangs is hat i'm looking for.
    Thats nice and fun. :-)

I have seen the manual in your links.
Because of the cutting of the ignition you get inbranded feul in the exhaust. This will burn what cause the banging. But the burning is placed in the exhaust. So will it not blow of the blades in from the turbo?

I'm looking in the wirediagram of the gt at the moment if it is an single or double coil pack.

I cant really answer about the blades on the turbo as i dont know that much, but this is the right one for the GT, this is the twin coil version.
